Quick post to announce that, I will be presenting at our local SharePoint User Group on Wednesday, August 28, 2013. If you are in the area, make sure you stop by.
Here are the details:
Topic: Business Intelligence in SharePoint and Project Server 2013 – Em‘Power’ the ‘Power’ User
We have seen all the demos- The beautiful looking reports, the dazzling dashboards, the drilldown analytic charts in SharePoint and Project Server. However, did you realize that a lot of focus on these new tools has been on using Excel as the main authoring tool, and empowering the users to build cool dashboards and reports themselves? This demo-rich session will cover some of the cool new features available in SharePoint 2013, which you can use to develop beautiful reports and dashboards. Make an impression on your management folks at the same time providing meaningful data that they can base their decisions on. Focus would be on the Excel Services, PowerPivot, PowerView. Some familiarity with Pivot Tables recommended.
Time: Wednesday, August 28th from 5:00pm– 7:00pm
Location: Cleveland Microsoft Office, Park Center III, at 6050 Oak Tree Blvd., Independence, 44131
